Accomplished Accounting.

Meet Erin! Born in Miller Place, NY, the Long Island native spent her younger years frequenting Cedar beach due to her childhood homes proximity. Erin, who loves long summer nights on the beach, now gets to experience the same memories that she had as a kid but with her two children, Mackenzie (11) and Peyton (12). She quickly found a love for music when she picked up the violin for the first time in middle school. Music was something that came natural to Erin, which is what gravitates her towards attending live events in her free time. When she’s not rocking out in the crowd, she’s planning her next tattoo which acts as a way for her to relieve stress and express herself. For the last 19 years, Erin has been an integral in Precision International’s accounting department. Her role, along with what Erin describes as an incredible accounting team, is to record and report on the cash flow transactions of the company. Her primary responsibility revolves around accounts receivable, where she ensures that transactions from customers are properly recorded in accordance with payment terms. Due to Precision’s high flow of production, this is a busy, non-stop flow that requires meticulous record keeping and clear communication, an environment that Erin thrives in. In addition, she is responsible for managing freight bills, ensuring that all shipping charges match approved quotes. When necessary, Erin will also modify completed orders whether it’s a change in price, quantity, or product revision. Managing these adjustments diligently ensures our customers are receiving the right products for the right price. She is well known for her effective communication skills, which have fostered a strong relationship with our customers, something Erin says she is extremely grateful for. Her dedication to Precision is driven by the relationships with her team and those who have molded her into the professional she is today. Erin specifically remembers the mentorship and compassion she received from her superior Diane when she first started. A mother figure and close companion, Diane’s big heart and love for her employees’ stem from the culture here at Precision. Erin responded with just that when I asked her when she knew that Precision was her forever home. She praised President, Tina Parente for continuing her father’s approach of treating employees like family. These close relationships within the company are a key factor in Erin’s efficiency and the accounting team. Erin’s dedication to her work not only streamlines the financial operations of the company but also fosters positive relationships with anyone she encounters. Her commitment to excellence and integrity makes her an invaluable member of the accounting team, contributing significantly to the overall success of the organization. Her dependency and work ethic play a significant role in her continued success. Erin is a motivated and trusted professional in her field and someone Precision is grateful to have!
