My Story:

It is my pleasure to introduce Lorena! Lorena, a native of Ecuador is the middle child of five that consists of one sister and three brothers. She describes her family as a treasure trove of memories and a constant source of joy that enriches her life. Raised commendably with a sense of purpose, her family made it their mission to help each other accomplish their goals no matter the distance they had to go. In 2001, Lorena made the brave decision to move to the United States without her parents, embarking on a new chapter in her life filled with uncertainty and challenges. However, her positive attitude and adaptability served as her guiding light, helping her navigate the complexities of a new culture and language with grace and determination. Through her unwavering optimism and resilience, Lorena has managed to thrive, showcasing the power of her indomitable spirit and the enduring strength of her character. Shortly after settling in, she was on the hunt for a fitting work environment. During her endeavor, she came across Precision International. At the time she was offered a position in a bakery, but she felt something special when she walked into Precision. She was hesitant but knew she had to go with her instincts. The feeling came to fruition when she bumped into her bride-to-be, Isabel, who was also employed at Precision shortly after starting her career there. The two have been happily married for the last 18 years and share three children together. They enjoy watching a Barcelona soccer game in their free time when they are not spending time with their two beautiful grandsons. A lifelong fan of soccer, Lorena often emphasizes the “unity” aspect of the sport with the Assembly Line team which provides a clear path to healthy communication in her department. Her genuine happiness and constant optimism create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, fostering a sense of camaraderie among her coworkers. She truly embodies the power of a smile and its ability to spread happiness wherever she goes. These undeniable character traits made her the perfect fit to assist at a higher level in a Supervisor Assistant role when the position became available. As the Assistant Supervisor for the Assembly Line, she is also tasked with executing productivity. She analyzes production data, helps identify opportunities for improvement, and assigns tasks to employees to efficiently run production lines in a time-sensitive order. She helps to ensure that our company has all the equipment running smoothly, the material readily available for line runs, and the continuance of meeting production targets promptly. She leads by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a relentless drive for perfection. Lorena meticulously analyzes each team member’s strengths, skills, and expertise to strategically allocate responsibilities that play to their strengths. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the production process, Lorena carefully assesses the workload, deadlines, and priorities to ensure that tasks are delegated effectively and efficiently. Lorena’s dedication, resilience, and warm personality make her a cherished colleague and a true beacon of light on our team. We are grateful to have her and look forward to her continued success at Precision!
